How Many Crickets Are In a Mini-Kickers Tube?
There are about 100 crickets in each Mini-Kickers tube. The amount varies somewhat depending upon the size of the crickets.
How Much Protein is in Each Tube?
Crickets offer real animal protein that contains all nine essential amino acids. One tube of Mini-Kickers offers 6+ grams of protein.
Low in Fat!
Crickets are a good source of good unsaturated fats. Essential fatty acids cannot be synthesized by the human body and must be obtained through diet. Insects are a great way to deliver these healthy fats. Crickets, as an example, have a perfect Omega 3:6 balance. There are approximately 2.5 grams of fat in the crickets within each Mini-Kickers tube. The seasoning may add a bit more.
High in Antioxidants
Crickets have over 3X the Antioxidants as Orange Juice! Antioxidants help protect your body from cell damage caused by free radicals (unstable molecules). Limiting DNA damage may inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors.
Low in Calories!
Crickets are low in calories and offer more grams of protein, less fat, and more fiber than beef or salmon.

Eating crickets can help maintain a healthy gut biome. Chitin is the exoskeleton of an insect. Chitin is a prebiotic fiber that is basically nutrients for probiotic gut bacteria.
